One day, Abdullah ibn Amr had a sheep slaughtered. God's Messenger asked him:
'Have you sent some of its meat to our Jewish neighbour?'
After repeating this several times, God's Messenger added:
'Gabriel has repeatedly asked me to behave with my neighbours until I started thinking that he would include them among my heirs.'
